Surf Sanctuary is a bespoke surf and ocean adventure school located at The Headland Hotel, Fistral Beach, Newquay. We offer surf, coasteering, snorkeling, spearfishing, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), and ocean confidence experiences to families, friends, and individuals. There are no limits on age or ability.

Established in 2014, we consistently lead in three areas: class ratios, instructor ability, and location. Surf Sanctuary maintains the lowest student-to-instructor ratios in the surf coaching industry.

Surf Sanctuary is situated in the Headland Hotel, overlooking the stunning panorama of Fistral Beach and the Cribbar. No other surf school in Newquay can boast such a view over such prime surfing real estate. There is ample parking right outside our surf school in the hotel car park. We are the closest center to the surf, snorkeling, SUP, and coasteering zones in Newquay. Everything is within walking distance, and there are no roads to cross.
